Watch the ECOLIBRIUM Summer 2023 Showcase

The ECOLIBRIUM Summer 2023 Showcase on August 18th, presented by our interns from the DYCD Summer Youth Employment Program, was a multi-institution collaboration welcoming students from the Cooper Union School of Engineering, St. Johns University, Scholars Academy High School, and LaGuardia High School.

The final presentations include:

• The IoT/Tech Team: Created environmental sensors that will measure indoor and outdoor air quality.
• The Media Team: Documented the progress and producing short video clips and social media posts.
• The Environment & Data Team: Worked on an emissions inventory, incorporating existing public data and past work of previous teams, while engaging in guided self-learning to improve coding skills and data visualizations.

We are proud of these young creators, makers and designers who are leading the path for climate jobs, a greener economy and a more equitable future!
